Wakefield Boathouse

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Wakefield Boathouse is still closed for the season. Thank you.

From the North or South

Take I-95 to Exit 39, North Avenue, taking a right for I-95N or left for I-95S off the exit onto North Avenue. Follow North Avenue for about one mile and take a left onto Church Street at the large intersection (you’ll see a baseball field). Follow Church Street for 1/3 of a mile and take a left onto Lake Avenue. At the end of Lake Avenue, you will see our colorful boats down by the waterfront.

There is lots of parking on the streets nearby the boathouse so no need to worry about that.

There’s a 3.5-mile loop that wraps around Lake Quannapowitt. If you’re out for a stroll, follow the path South toward Wakefield’s grassy town common. We have a rack of very colorful boats by the lakeside that you cannot miss!
