Spot Pond Boathouse

With over 2,500 acres of land, Spot Pond Reservoir is the perfect place to enjoy both the woods and the water. Grab a paddle and spend a fun, peaceful day exploring this gorgeous natural environment. Our knowledgeable and friendly staff are here to help whether you’re an expert or novice.

You’ll quickly see why so many families enjoy spending their days at Spot Pond. Grab a paddle and venture through the quiet lake surrounded by forest. Rent a rowboat, canoe, or kayak, enjoy miles of scenic hiking and biking trails in the woods, or go fishing for trout and bass. While you’re visiting the area, be sure to paddle out to one of our three Spot Pond islands, where you can find a large variety of birds and other animals. With so many choices, there’s an activity everyone in the family will enjoy!

From the South

Take I-93N to Exit 34 and bear right. The boating center is located approximately a half of a mile beyond the Stone Zoo on the right.

From the North

Take I-93N to Exit 35. At the bottom of the ramp, turn left. At the first stop sign, take a right. Proceed through the intersection. The boating center will be approximately a half of a mile beyond the Stone Zoo on the right.


From fishing and hiking to paddling and birdwatching, Spot Pond Boathouse will make you excited to explore the outdoors. Take a class or purchase a rental to get started!

All boat renters need the Float Plan Agreement form at our boathouse locations, and we encourage you to print and fill it out ahead of time, so you have more time on the water!
